International Nibbles: Burrito Bae

Anyone who knows me personally knows that I am prone to procrastinate. I obviously didn’t mean to procrastinate this much because I ate these burritos in March, last edited this draft back in April but now it’s July. The seasons have changed, I’m sorry!
Anyways, here is my long LONG delayed International Nibbles post.

For our next International Nibbles, my sister and I decided to go get some burritos, namely because I was craving them at the time. Here’s her Tokyo burrito story!

So on random Monday in March, I made EM get burritos with me downtown at Chihuahua’s Mexican Grill after we finished class.
There are plenty of other Mexican places downtown to check out but EM recommended this particular place after going with NA some few weeks before.

Now that I look back, that pop of color over the kitchen area of Chihuahua’s reminds me so much of Coco! That movie was amazing, by the way. Definitely watch it if you haven’t already!

For drinks, they have Mexican beer, margaritas, tequila and more! They even have sangria fishbowls to share with your friend, fam or lover. For food, they have everything from chips and guacamole (your go-to tapas!) to big-as-my-face burritos! (Plus they have specials every day!)

But really, check out the size of these babies. Needless to say these B’s are definitely filling, B-ware. I tried the Barbacoa Burrito (the one with braised beef) and my cravings were beyond satisfied. They also have pulled pork with pineapple salsa one (which EM had), a Chipotle chicken burrito, and vegan-friendly option made out of squash. Something for everyone! I got a bite from EM and her pulled pork burrito was just as good as my beef one, so I’m pretty certain anything at Chihuahua’s would turn out to be anything but a disaster.

Authenticity-wise, I can’t tell you anything because I’ve never been to Mexico and had real Mexican but what I can tell you is that the food was great, no doubt about that. I’m very much looking forward to going back for some more burritos, tacos and definitely a fishbowl sometime soon!
